ADA publishes a Discussion Paper which raises a topic of interest, directly related to the microfinance sector, and which aims at stimulating a discussion between microfinance professionals.
The exchanges take place in the form of virtual debates via an online forum created in collaboration with the European Microfinance Platform (e-MFP) and in the form of real debates with ADA presenting the paper at various microfinance events.
At the outcome of the exchanges, ADA publishes a Follow-Up Paper, which summarizes the key points raised in the course of the different debates, and which formulates proposals for future action.
Discussion Paper n°2: Funding Chasing and 'Bad' Microfinance Practices
The ADA Discussion Paper n°2 particulary appeal to microfinance investors and microfinance institutions to answer the following question:
"Can 'Bad' Microfinance Practices Be The Consequences of Too Much Funding Chasing To Few Microfinance Institutions?"

The ADA Discussion Paper n°2 is related to the next virtual debate organised by ADA on March 1st, 2nd and 3rd, and March 8th and 9th, 2011.
At the outcome of these exchanges, ADA will publish a follow-up paper, which will summarize the key points raised during the virtual debates, and which will formulate some proposals for future action.

Follow-Up Paper of the 1st ADA virtual debate
ADA organised its first virtual debate on March 2010. 150 participants have exchanged on this issue via e-mail. At the outcome of the first virtual debate, ADA has published the Follow-up Paper N°1, which summarizes the key points raised by the different participants.
