The Rating Initiative programme aims to promote financial and social ratings for the microfinance institutions (IMFs). The Rating Initiative was launched by ADA in September 2008 in collaboration with the Government of Luxembourg, the Microfinance Initiative Liechtenstein, the Swiss Development Cooperation, ResponsAbility, Oxfam Novib, the Oesterreichische Entwicklungsbank (OeEB), ICCO, the Principality of Monaco and Blue Orchard.
ADA manages the Rating Initiative programme within a 3,4 millions euros budget for the period 2008-2012.
