The services we offer microfinance institutions are all aimed at the same objective: professionalising MFIs with a view to their independent management, financial performance and growth.We provide the following five services:
- Research and development of innovative microfinance products: microinsurance, loan for young entrepreneurs, remittances
- Training workshops: human resources and social performance, performance indicators for MFIs, performance indicators for microinsurance, workshops for microfinance networks and professional associations
- Support for microfinance networks and professional associations
- Promotion of transparency through the African Microfinance Transparency (AMT) and the Rating Initiative Programme
- Financing: Luxembourg Microfinance and Development Fund (LMDF)
Microcredit is not enough
With its partners in southern countries, ADA develops innovative microfinance products, like microinsurance, credits for young entrepreneurs, and money transfers. ADA's goal is to expand the range of services offered by MFIs to increase their viability and independence.
