Published by GRET, CIRAD and CGAP, the French-English Microfinance Glossary was created by, and for the practitioners of the microfinance sector. It was primarily conceived as a translation tool designed to facilitate comprehension of microfinance terminology, especially for French-speaking people who would like to access to English documents.
This Glossary also aims to standardize vocabulary used particularly within the financial sector, which is not officially recognized in French.
